Breaking News ! Emotional tributes have been paid to a man who died after an incident in Lower Earley. Jason Page, 51, from Reading, died in hospital after an incident at the BP garage in Chalfont Way, at around 7.40pm on Wednesday, March 31. He sadly passed away on Thursday, April 1. His family has now paid tribute to him as Thames Valley Police continue to investigate the incident. The tribute said: "Jason, it’s so hard to express how we feel, we can’t believe you’re gone. Both men – a 42-year-old from Reading and a 25-year-old from Wokingham – have now been released on bail. Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Inspector Dejan Avramovic, of the Major Crime Unit, previously said: “We have now launched a murder investigation, following this incident and our thoughts are with the victim’s family at this time. “I would like to again appeal to anyone who may have information about this incident to please contact us on 101, or by making a report online, quoting reference 43210136391. “Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
