Breaking News ! A 14-year-old boy is set to appear in court over a double stabbing in Tilehurst. Thames Valley Police has charged the boy over the incident in Lucey Close, which happened at around 11.30pm on Saturday, September 12. The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with attempted murder and Section 18 grievous bodily harm. The incident saw two 16-year-old boys being stabbed and taken to hospital. The boy was arrested on Monday, September 14.

. The boy is set to appear at Reading Magistrates' Court on Thursday, September 17. See how many crimes there have been in your area by putting your postcode in below The incident led to police introducing a Section 60 order in parts of Reading and West Berkshire, including Tilehurst, which gave police greater powers to stop and search in relation to items connected with violence. The order applied to areas across the borough like Coley and Whitley, including areas from A4 Bath Road, A33, M4, Shinfield Road and the Inner Distribution Road (IDR). The order has now ended.
